Bio
Hello! My name is Lauren Young, and I am a C5 ELA teacher at Pike Road Intermediate School. This is my fifth year teaching ELA and my fifth year teaching at Pike Road Schools! I received a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling from Faulkner University and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Auburn University Montgomery. I love living in the Pike Road community with my husband, Bryan, and our 2 year old son Jayce. We also love to dote on our black lab who is our original fur baby. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on walks, working out, and reading all the books I can get my hands on! I can't wait to start another year with my PRS family.
